Ceramic tiles are becoming increasingly popular in the cryptocurrency space.
However, it’s a big jump from the more niche offerings made by ceramic tile retailers.
On Sunday, ceramic tile sellers will start selling their chips for cryptocurrency at cryptocurrency exchanges.
In a post on its website, ceramic tiles maker Ceramic said it will start accepting Bitcoin and Ethereum at its stores in China and the United States in the coming weeks.
The company said it has been working on acquiring additional retail locations to meet demand, adding that it will provide the necessary capital to fund this initiative.
Ceramic is not the first ceramic tile retailer to offer Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
In August, the company was the first retailer to launch the crypto-currency payment service.
