The new ceramic tile in your home can be recycled, thanks to a new initiative by a group of ceramic tile experts in California.
The group, Ceramic Tile Inc., has launched the “Recycle For Good” campaign, which encourages people to recycle old ceramic tiles for use in new designs.
The initiative will launch in 2018, and the group says it is working with local and national recycling partners.
The project is a collaboration between the company’s manufacturing facilities and the ceramic tile industry, which provides the majority of ceramic tiles in the United States.
For example, most ceramic tiles made in the U.S. come from Chinese manufacturers, which have been under pressure to replace more than 70 percent of their workforce with robot-made products.
The United States has also been facing a shortage of ceramic materials in recent years.
According to the American Society of Ceramic tile Makers, the U,S.
needs more than 1.5 million tons of ceramic material annually.
The American Ceramic Co., the nation’s largest ceramic tile producer, announced in December that it was laying off more than 400 workers at its U.K. plants.
The company said the layoffs were needed because of demand for new ceramic tiles from customers and to comply with U.N. guidelines.
The ceramic tile manufacturer’s stock fell 2.8 percent in early trading on Monday.
But the stock jumped as much as 11 percent to $32.80 at $26.30 in New York.
The new initiative comes on the heels of Ceramique, a ceramic tile-recycling startup that was founded in the late 1970s and is headquartered in San Francisco.
The startup’s co-founder, John Kastler, has said he plans to turn his company into a recycling company.
“Ceramique is not an industry that I have been interested in, or am a fan of,” Kastlers said.
Ceramiques mission is to provide ceramic tile recycling services for businesses in the construction, construction, commercial and residential industries.
The Ceramiquers founder said that his company has been a catalyst for the industry in the past, but said that this initiative is different.
“This is not a new idea,” he said.
“It’s really about the next generation of ceramic designers and ceramic tile manufacturers, because we have to bring new designs to the market, and we need to get people to design the new ceramic designs, rather than just producing the old designs.”
